Spinning is indoor cycling with the energy turned all the way up — music driving the room, lights down, and an instructor coaching you through climbs, sprints, and recovery. It's the most fun you can have getting your heart rate up.
A typical ride runs about 45–60 minutes, and you control your own resistance the entire time — so the rider next to you might be sprinting while you climb at your own pace. It's intense cardio that's still completely low-impact on your knees and joints.
New to the bike? Come a few minutes early and the instructor will get you set up — seat height, resistance, the basics. After that, you just ride.
